Udawalawe is a popular national park in Sri Lanka and is a major eco-tourism destination in Sri Lanka. The massive 30,821 hectares dry zone game park has an annual rainfall of 1524 mm and an average temperature of 29.4°C.

Proceed to do a safari in the late afternoon.

Udawalawe national park us very famous for the elephant population living which is estimated to be around 400 elephants in total. Day 1 –  Airport / Colombo     Travel Time approximately 45 MIN
Our professional Chauffeur Guide will welcome you upon your arrival at the Bandaranayke International Airport and will be transferred to your hotel in the largest city and commercial capital of Sri Lanka, Colombo.

Day 2 –  Colombo/ Dambulla                
Travel Time approximately 4 ½  to 5 HRS
After breakfast in Colombo, proceed to Sigiriya which is situated within the cultural triangle.

Day 3 –  Dambulla/Sigiriya

After breakfast proceed to climb the world famous ancient rock fortress of Sigiriya which is also a UNESCO world heritage site.
The Sigiriya Rock Fortress is known as the 8th wonder of the world which was built by King Kasyapa in the 5th century A.D. and was a royal citadel for more than 18 years.
After your descent engage on an exciting village trek on a bullock cart through the village of Hiriwaduna in Sigiriya giving you the experience of the local culture and tradition and the warmth of Sri Lankan hospitality.

After climbing the Sigiriya rock, enjoy a bullock cart ride through a village in Sigiriya to experience the village life style of Sri Lanka. You will be taken on a bullock cart ride through a banana plantation where you can taste and savor the ripe bananas there. Afterwards you will be crossing a scenic reservoir in a traditional boat which is called the “oruwa” to visit a chena cultivation.
