Guests who arrive at a location for a relatively long period of time, could make the most of their stay by booking a few excursions to adjacent locations. Perhaps with day or overnight trips, once could get to enjoy attractions away from your base camp.
Safari Yala, Udawalawe and Minneriya are some of the national parks for a great wildife experience. You can book a normal road vehicle to take you to the location and back, whilst we can price inclusive of the safari vehicle to go into the park. We have within our fleet such safari vehicles which can be given to you at the lowest cost.
Best to stay one night out at Yala so you can catch the early morning safari, as well as do the evening safari on the day you arrive at Yala.
Kandy
If you are not based at Kandy, it is the central hill station and last kingdom of Sri Lanka, which can be easily accessed from all other points of the country within about 2 to 4 hours drive depending on where you are staying.
Nuwara Eliya
The cool weather and old English style cottages draw visitors to this hill station. It is also an opportunity to visit the famous world’s end at Horton Plains – nature trail through some astounding virgin forest on a plateau.
Kitulgala
This is the place for some great white water rafting action on the rapids of the Black River (Kalu ganga). An excursion to this location can also take you on a nature trail through tropical wet zone forest to end at the Belilena prehistoric caves which are really worth seeing.
